What kind of video do I do for Facebook Ads?
The answer is simple…
If you were speaking on stage to a room full of potential students/ clients or customers, what would you say or demonstrate to convey to them the impact your product or service can offer?
If you don’t speak on stage, if you were sitting next to a chatty person on a plane and had to sell your product or service what would you say to them?
1. Make a “Low Price” Offer
For a lower priced product or service you could probably get away with 1 video saying “this phone bag is something you need and it’s priced at a low price of $7.99.”
2. Discuss Unique Features
But if it is $50 or more you may have to bring up some different selling points so making a series of 3 or 4 videos in your Facebook Ads to start and warm people up. “This $200 bag has many compartments” “the material is very durable and can last you a long time.” “And the comfortable straps helps your posture” by the 3rd video you have convinced people to buy.
You probably get the underlying idea but the idea is to think of the process of how you would sell offline and replicate the best we can online. So, in this case with Facebook Ads, we are not speaking on stage in front of them but you are showing up on their newsfeed in front of them.
3. Sense of Urgency
You can excite the audience in sharing that the product has only a limited supply. But you have to be careful with this. You would never walk up to someone at a retail store and say buy this $200 now, time is running out. You might say that to the promotional $7.99 bag with limited stock.
So remember that Facebook Ads is not a magic wand that sells whatever you put out. It’s just an extension of you so it is important for you to communicate the same way On Facebook as you would in person.
